I’m Elise Anne, an artist based in New York City.

Born and raised in Southern California, I’ve been making art for as long as I can remember. I began by working with pastels and watercolors before venturing into ceramics and acrylic paints in college. California brought sunshine, color, and creativity onto my palette daily, shaping the way I approach color and composition.

When I moved to New York in 2021, I became enamored by the city’s bustling pace and its collective obsession with how life is lived. The restaurants people swear by, the way they style their apartments, the outfits they wear just to grab coffee, the places they return to again and again - all of it feels intentional, expressive, and deeply romantic. New York has a way of turning everyday rituals into something worth savoring, and that sensibility sits at the heart of my work.

My artistic style reflects that same balance: energetic yet intimate, curated yet lived-in. I’m drawn to rich color palettes, expressive brushstrokes, and scenes that capture both movement and stillness. Each painting is an attempt to preserve a moment - not just how it looked, but how it felt to be there.
